Honey Bee Project
We need to pay more attention of the decline in Honey Bee population. Honey Bees are very important to the modern world. Most of the food in the US produced by US farmers is pollinated crops by Honey Bees. Not only are Honey Bees important but also the money form crops pollinated by Honey Bees makes up 30% of our country's economy. I based my Honey Bee project off of the economic risks because if the stock market crashes due to the large decline in funds produced by the Honey Bee crops, there would be a lot of people under lots of financial stress and won't be able to care for them and their families.
Dissection Project
In this project we, as a class, were asked to pick from three animals to dissect. We could have dissected a pig, a cat, or a shark. I personally picked the pig, I thought it would be the easiest because I eat pork . We had about two weeks to study our animals and learn about all their organs and how they work. At the end of the last week we, had a final exam where we would identify each organ in their body and tell what it is and explain its function. I learned something very important about myself thru this project. I learned that I do not have strong stomach.
Crime Scene Investigation
In the Crime Scene Investigation Project, the class was split up into to three groups, we all examined three different crime scenes. We studied many different techniques of crime scene investigation. We learned things from, Reconstructive Evidence and Associative Evidence to Blood Typing and Superglue Fuming. We used these and many more methods to examine the crime scene and hopefully find a perpetrator.
